In the wake of recent violence and brutality against black lives that continues to sweep the nation, our organization and broader network brings together Houston artists, academics, writers, activists, consultants, religious leaders, etc. in order to consider ways to respond locally.

Our aim is simple: to envision a world and concretely work toward creating local communities where black lives matter. We do this through empowerment (education and mentorship), collaboration, coalition, and the pursuit of “intersectional” justice through activism. Our core values include integrity and emphases on excellence and (black) innovation.
